A very special offering for the Aunt Kat's Pet Care (and former Berkshire Pet Pals) friends and family!
Crafty Kat Designs started as a HOBBY many years ago, but I never had the time to devote to it.
After my cancer/chemo in 2024, I was left with chemo-induced peripheral neuropathy which caused numbness/tingling, muscle spasms and loss of dexterity in my hands and feet. In addition, the foot drop made walking/hiking challenging, too. Even after occupational and physical therapy, I require the use of AFO's to ambulate safely. As a result, I had to close Berkshire Pet Pals, LLC to focus on healing and rehab.
I have since found that the knitting/crocheting and assembling of my hanging gnomes helps to alleviate some of the symptoms and served as physical/occupational/emotional therapy all in one! Thus, The Gnome Project was born!
